FAVOR is responsible for producing the design materials for the Rhode Island School of Design’s MLK Series for Celebration, Service, Learning and Inspiration. As Keynote Lecturer for 2015, actor, producer and activist, Danny Glover challenged the community “it is the artists responsibility to imagine so,” and to utilize every platform for greater good. It is important to not only focus on racial injustices but on matters such as, climate change or immigration. He ended by referencing an old African proverb; ‘we stand tall because we stand on the shoulders of those who stood before us.'
